Farmak has launched a new medicinal product in lotion form for the treatment of inflammatory dermatological diseases. The product has expanded the company’s line of products previously available in ointment and cream forms.
The new prescription medicine is intended for the treatment of inflammatory manifestations and itching associated with dermatoses responsive to corticosteroid therapy. In particular, this includes such common diseases as psoriasis (excluding widespread plaque psoriasis) and atopic dermatitis in adults and children aged 2 years and older. The medicinal product is available in lotion form for convenient use.
Dermatological diseases remain a pressing medical issue worldwide. According to the International Federation of Psoriasis Associations (IFPA), more than 125 million people live with psoriasis or psoriatic arthritis, including nearly 1.5 million people in Ukraine. Additionally, 77% of patients face stigmatization because of their disease, which affects their quality of life.
